REVIEW: Until Cobi by Aurora Rose Reynolds
Cobi Mayson knows exactly who Hadley is to him the moment he sees her for the very first time. That doesn’t mean it will be easy for him to convince her to take a chance on him.Hadley Emerson knows she could fall hard and fast for a guy like Cobi. A man who seems to show up every time she needs him, but she knows better than to just hand over her heart.
Knowing his future with Hadley is on the line, Cobi begins to tie their lives together. As the invisible rope that connects them tightens and things between them heat up, an unknown threat emerges threatening to take away their happily ever after and send them both into darkness.

Cobi and Hadley are the perfect couple. They first meet when Hadley sees Cobi’s cousin Harmony being kidnapped. When Cobi (the officer who responded to the 911 call) tells her to drive past she refuses. It is simply not who see is, she can’t drive on knowing what could be happening. That one decision puts her on the path to her boom. If you have never read any of the Until series (or the spin-offs) then let me tell you that the boom happens when a Mayson finds their other half. It can happen in the blink of an eye or it can take a while. It is something they all know about and some don’t always believe it.
It is also what Cobi feels the moment he lays eyes on Hadley. I love how he growls when the paramedics attempt to treat her. Hadley however, doesn’t know about the boom or about love really. She has never had it not even as a child and she struggles with it. She also struggles with the events that happened when she helped Harmony. Cobi though is right there from the very beginning even when he is told to leave he refuses. They were both funny and so real with one another. Hadley has no problem telling him he is a stalker or crazy while Cobi will tell her just how stubborn she is. It made me like them even more.
The one thing I wished was that we saw a little bit of Cobi’s grandparents. I mean his dad’s parents. I always love them when they show up but getting to see his dad, Trevor and Liz, his mom, was wonderful. At first I had to rack my brain to figure out which one of the Mayson boys was his dad. Another thing is that I would have liked to know who broke into Hadley’s home. I know Hadley mentions who she thinks it is and it very may have been.
All in all this was another wonderful book in a series that I wait on pin and needles for each book. I could not have asked for a better woman for Cobi than Hadley. Aurora Rose Reynolds knows how to take a character who should be jaded in every way and make them into the most loving and kind person to walk the planet.
